Wild Beastmaster takes 2 full turns to become relevant, but is amazing with a bloodrush from ghor clam rampager. Madcap Skills can be cast off Burning-Tree Emissary where they can potentially be staring at a 5/2 turn 2.
not sure which one I like better.
Deck list:
You can respond to your own Wild Beastmaster's triggered ability while it is on the stack. The X value is decided on resolution, not when it goes on the stack, so yes, that does work.
I'd probably go Madcap Skills. Its more likely to be relevant throughout the game. Haven't actually looked at the deck though.

Oh really? That's cool! But yeah either way I'd go with Madcap Skills

I played someone recently who put Wild Beastmaster in a deck with a number of cheap bloodrush creatures and even a Madcap Skills . They were consistently swinging for 30+ damage on turn 4. It's scary as hell. But if you can get over the hump it peters out a bit.
It doesn't seem as nice in your deck since you don't really have much creature boost besides Ghor-Clan Rampager .

Wild Beastmaster doesn't work with Ghor Clan because the beastmaster's ability triggers when they attack and you can only bloodrush after a creature has been declared as an attacker. Plus, Madcap Skills is just ridiculous, that's my vote.
