Making Laboratory Maniac Playable

Currently calling my list deck:masochistic-control any suggestions for things I might have missed in the UB control area?

Curse of the Bloody Tome that would be a helpful enchant to put on yourself that way if nothing else you are at least milling something every turn.

playing casual is probably the most effective way to make it playable

Jace, Memory Adept , super good for self milling, a 4 drop that allows you to mill 10 every turn.
Relying entirely on Laboratory Maniac is risky. 1 R/B spell can kill him, and istead of milling yourself to win you just milled yourself to lose. Any time you are going to run this you will NEED Spellskite to protect your maniac, and also you should have a method of returning maniac to your hand/library if you need to protect him, and a method to fish him from your graveyard. Also pack 4 Unsummon to protect form board wipes, always, you can't afford to have any of your win cons dissapearing on you.
You should also get another method to mill yourself, Jace as mentioned above is good. If Mirror-Mad is your only "big" mill ability you won't get there fast enough to win against any sort of Agro of hardcore burn deck, the shorter your library gets the less it will force you to mill.
