Merfolk counter choice

For those of you who play Merfolk in modern (or anyone else with an opinion), which would you pick to put mainboard? Mana Leak , Remand , or Spell Pierce ?
I did have 3 Mana Leak main and two Spell Pierce in the sideboard. It seemed to be working out okay, but I just switched in Remand in main to see if it makes any improvement. I like the card draw, and it goes really well with a tempo deck.
What are your reasonings for or against these cards in main/sideboard?
Here's my entire deck if you want to see what else is in it:

I added my decklist as an example, but I thought the broader discussion on the deck archetype would qualify going in the Modern forum. I can see your reasoning though.

I play both spell pierce and remand along with vapor snag.

I see you run the Remand , I like those best of all. After looking at your build, I like Vapor Snag but right now, I think you need/want the Spell Pierce at a 2 of in the mainboard, it just does too much work against too many decks to not be there.
I would do, 3x Remand , 2x Spell Pierce and 2x Vapor Snag .
You're really just wanting to delay them from getting their game plan going while you out aggro them, but I would sideboard some hard counter for the control matchup. Mana Leak works, to replace the Vapor Snag .

The format forums do not handle decklists (see the forum descriptions). Moved to Deck Help.
