Deck Help forum

What I'm looking to do is to spit out tons of tokens and cheap creatures. I'm trying to incorporate battle cry so they buff each other as fast as possible to go along with 1 to 2 cost mana buffs and artifacts to make them strong. I'd like to keep to quick one hit spells to do damage and right now I've got Galvanic Blasts in there to help with the artifact spin with the deck. I've tried this build a few times and haven't gotten satisfactory results in casual play with friends. I'm aiming to keep it playable in standard. It'd be awesome to get any ideas that people have out there. Thanks

Uncompleted deck right now:

Creatures (7)Goblin Wardriver x4Hero of Oxid Ridge x2Charmbreaker Devils x1

Instants (4)Galvanic Blast x4

Sorcery (8)Kuldotha Rebirth x4Infernal Plunge x4 (The idea is to sac a small or token creature to get more quick mana)

Artifact (12)Darksteel Axe x2card:Accorder's Shield x2Signal Pest x4Memnite x4

Land (20)Mountain x20

As you see there are 9 card slots left in the deck. I don't have the knowledge of cards to know what would be best to put in here or what I shouldn't. If you've got the time and the inclination, please lend a hand.

Goblin Chieftain , my friend. He works wonders with goblins. I'd go with 2 more Signal Pest if you want more battlecry. Mox Opal helps provide extra mana early on. I don't see the need for Charmbreaker Devils , as it doesn't really fit the theme and doesn't seem like he would come into play very often with only 20 land. Brimstone Volley happens to combo nicely with Infernal Plunge , essentially turning it into a Goblin Grenade , which also wouldn't be bad in here. But there are a few ideas to get you started. Best of luck!

I actually just made a mono Red build two days ago with a similar theme. I'm not asking for comments or anything, but you can check it out just for ideas, although not all of the cards in my deck will be appropriate for what you're trying to accomplish. Reinventing Kuldotha

Since you have some mana acceleration going on with the Infernal Plunge , you might consider Pentavus . Turn 4 token generator with some cool stuff on him. Also, I find it hard to see token decks without something to plus them, so Adaptive Automaton might work here. Make them goblins to plus your goblin tokens from Kuldotha Rebirth or your tokens from Pentavus .

Loved the deck you built metalmagic. As for the Charmbreaker Devils , I've always wanted to use him but haven't been able to fit him into anything, cramming him into this deck was just wishful thinking. Maybe put him in a burn deck...

I'll get my hands on some Goblin Chieftain 's. Suggestions like that are exactly what I came here for, I just don't know what cards are out there. Brimstone Volley is nice but it's cost is the same as what Infernal Plunge gives me so it seems like a slightly inefficient Goblin Grenade. I was hoping that I could use the Infernal Plunge to throw out a big creature or two earlier than I would be able to other wise, any suggestions about what creatures I should aim to use that on? I'd like to add Curse of Stalked Prey but I'm out of money right now, it being Christmas and everything.

I actually have a Pentavus and I'll throw him in there, he'll work amazing with what I'm trying to get going here, thanks!

I just realized that the description I put up with my first post doesn't totally match what I said here about adding a few bigger creatures to the deck so I'll ask, would it be smarter to stay quick or would it be worthwhile to try to sneak in a big guy or two, maybe Chancellor of the Forge ? But he'd get out at the earliest turn 3 and that'd be a perfect situation thing...
