Mono-Blue Devotion: Sideboarding in the mirror?
Deck Help forum

After taking my mono-blue devotion, The Water Tribe's Uprising, to GP Dallas/Fort Worth, and losing two mirror matches, I've decided that I absolutely need to fix the way I side in and out. Also lost a mirror match today during my local Sunday standards.
So currently, the way I side in the mirror is:
-4 Frostburn Weird , -4 Judge's Familiar , -2 Bident of Thassa
+4 Gainsay , 1 Curse of the Swine , 2 Domestication , 2 Rapid Hybridization , 1 Cyclonic Rift
I take out Frostburn Weird because it's a target for Tidebinder Mage . Judge's Familiar is pretty dead here, and I'm regretting taking Bident of Thassa out. My two opponents at GP D/FW beat me with sheer card advantage from the Bident, and I started to question siding it out. I'm also questioning taking out the Weird, since my opponents seemed to side out their Tidebinder Mage s.
Can somebody please help me with this? I just can't figure out the right way to do this lol.

Yeah, lost to an overloaded Cyclonic Rift too. It's pretty rough.
The Rapid Hybridization s and Curse of the Swine are both really good for getting rid of devotion hogs like Nightveil Specter , and Curse can get their Thassa, God of the Sea .
So maybe...
-2 Judge's Familiar , 2 Tidebinder Mage , 4 Frostburn Weird
+2 Domestication , 4 Gainsay , 1 Curse of the Swine , 1 Rapid Hybridization

Oh yeah, Domestication definitely goes in, and I'll be leaving the Bidents in now. Need to playtest.
And Trait Doctoring seems interesting with Tidebinder Mage ... but I don't know if that combo is worth the board space.

Actually, Trait Doctoring and Tidebinder Mage wouldn't work since the Mage would already be on the field.

But giving Master of Waves protection from Blue seems pretty good. I get it now. hah.

But since it only interacts with one card in the deck, I just don't know.
Seems really good, but not full-proof enough.

My friend who plays mono-blue was telling me that he was losing his mirror matches to Domestication and Cyclonic rift more than anything else, I'd recommend trying to keep the bulk of your deck without change, and only take out the frostburns and don't add the curse of swine or hybridizations. Leave the bident and 1-2 judges and see how that goes.
Also, playtest the mirror whenever you get the chance, practice with this deck is important, there's more interactions than some people think at first glance.
