Morphing user:Shabobi's Deck into Casual, Help Needed

Okay, so the current Top deck on the site is With Knowledge, comes Power and I absolutely love it. But, there are two things about it that I would like to change:

1) I do not play in tournaments, therefore do not care if standard, I would like to morph this deck into just a casual deck. AKA, I'm asking if there are any older cards that would actually be better replacements for any of the current cards in this one.

2) Obviously casual decks tend to be cheaper b/c the card demand is a lot less than standard cards, and I am not rich, haha. For instance, I would never pay 15-20 bucks for 1 of those 3 Jace, Memory Adept s. It's just not worth it to me. Or for instance the dual standard lands, those are 10-15 usually, sometimes more. I can just get older ones. In addition to making this deck into casual with possible better (older) alternatives, I would like to switch out the costly cards as well. I love the deck, but will never get it with the price its at.

Can anyone help me out? I already asked the creator and he hasn't been playing for too long and said he would be of no help for knowing older cards. Any and all suggestions welcome. I really want to get this deck, so any card suggestions go! (except expensive ones, lol)

It looks like you're just going for a mill approach. There are plenty of ways to do that, and your options won't be limited to a few recent sets.

Consider the following cards:

Hedron Crab

Body Double

Mind Funeral (the inspiration for a lot of Dimir abilities in GTC)

Mesmeric Orb

card:Jace's Archivist and Consecrated Sphinx with card:Jace's Erasure

As for the land base, there are plenty of cheaper options than shock lands:

Underground River

Tainted Isle

Drowned Catacomb

Creeping Tar Pit

Traumatize works wonders.

Traumatize is less impressive in 60-card because of its slow speed. By the time you can cast it, you'll probably already have your opponent's library down to 20 or 30 cards.

I used the magiccards.com's advanced search and found these cards. What do you guys think would be good to include? or have at least 1 or 2 of?

None of those cards are really that good on their own. Keening Stone is expensive to operate, and Grindstone is expensive to buy. Grindstone does combo with card:Painter's Servant, though.

Darkslick Shores is another dual land that could be of use.
