Naya Human/Burn

Deck Help forum

Posted on June 19, 2012, 12:15 p.m. by Raek

I am interested in making a human/burn deck using R/W/G and have a few cards I think would make a very nice combo but am looking for some suggestions to finish it out, so far I know I want Champion of the Parish , Kessig Malcontents , Restoration Angel , Champion of Lambholt , Gather the Townsfolk , and Bonfire of the Damned . I figure with lots of humans on the board the Kessig Malcontents would drop some hurting especially if you can get a resto angel out to bounce him and swing at them again, I am just curious as to what else would make for some good additions to this since I already have a decent idea for a start (I am trying to build it so that it will run after new phyrexia rotates out)

I forgot to throw it in there but I would definately use cavern and declare human and angels if a second one drops

here is an example of a Naya Human deck. This is my take on it and it is semi-budget.

Here is a link to my current Naya Humans deck. Probably going to be making some changes soon, but you can view it in it's current form.

Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip owns. Grab 4 of and throw em in here. With Restoration angel and cloudshift thats lots of tokens/life/burn. I had a game with 3 Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip out. Just kept passing then casting 2 spells, passing casting 2 spells. GG

deck:bounce-that-weenie Is what I have so far from some of the suggestions I received still trying to come up with a sideboard, ran across battle hymn and figured that it's perfect as a hold in the hand card to give a little extra hurt with bonfire or to throw out a nice creature drop with the extra mana
