The idea behind this deck, deck:gandalfs-fireworks is that it uses Duskmantle Seer to burn opponents, while using blue, black, and red for control elements, with red as added burn to get the opponent down to zero quicker.
I am running into speed issues, I am not getting what I need as quickly as I would like, with sometimes it being many turns before I even see Duskmantle Seer , or none of my burn showing up. How do I make this deck more consistent?

ooh yes, Lone Revenant tends to do great early game b/c it helps you dig for answers early game. 5 mana hurts though so...

I agree, I took out card:Sphinx's Revelation for Liliana of the Veil , and adapted the mana correctly. I am thinking of taking out Pillar of Flame s for Izzet Charm s and. I don't think Faithless Looting is necessary if I use Izzet Charm s, though I wonder if 2 damage to creature or a sucky non-creature mana drain is worth not having the flashback on Faithless Looting . I don't think siding out 4 burns for simply looting will work that well, so I think Izzet Charm is the best way to have 'both'.
I dissagree with having in Lone Revenant because it already hurts a lot when I get Duskmantle Seer for the reveal from another seer. Now, I like Bump in the Night , or perhaps even Vexing Devil as a quick 3 (4) to the dome, I shall try out both Izzet Charm , Faithless Looting , Bump in the Night and Vexing Devil in Pillar of Flame 's spot and see what works well most often.

It has a trappings of a midrange deck.
Staff of Nin to slowly etch the player out and letting you draw 2 cards, but very expensive (6 mana!) so maybe something else.
side out pillar of flame for more reliable answers like dissipate/negate/cancel/essence scatter/ultimate price/murder/syncopate. It's almost fine to lose 1 more life for a better answer
sphinx's revelation seems out of place, it needs you to splash a 4th colour, but card draw wise... think twice is nice, Dimir Charm and Izzet Charm are both very versatile and saves you some spell space. if you insist on splashing white, Azorius Charm is a 2 or 3 of.
put in 2-3 Liliana of the Veil for its -2 ability at turn 3.
bonfire of the damned is a 2 of, b/c it's not as good if you don't miracle it.
Try looking for things that have a cheap up-front cost and a flashback like Silent Departure or Bump in the Night ,
