Need advice for Thrun EDH

I tore apart a mono-green EDH deck because it wasn't that fun, now I'm rebuilding it to be more consistent: Thrun EDH. With Thrun, the Last Troll as my commander I hope to deter attention away from me because he is difficult to deal with, allowing me to go crazy and ramp and draw into bigger beaters. I know Thrun runs well as voltron, so I'm considering more equipments. Please critique and be brutal if you wish, thanks.

You don't need to double-post threads; I deleted the duplicate.

Your plan may backfire; when a player uses a hard-to-answer general, the table tends to gang up on him or her to minimize the potential for a threat.
