Need good advice on Best Green Card
Deck Help forum

I accidentally made a really strong mono green mana ramp set up, and I really want to just find a couple modern legal green BOMBS (that's really big bombs, in case you were wondering) that I can put in Simple Saproling Combo Just to have options for when I get all that mana creation out there and have nothing good to play with it. Any suggestions appreciated, THANKS!

A simple Howl of the Night Pack and/or Overrun and/or Triumph of the Hordes could also be pretty bomb-y.

Oh yes, I was thinking almost any Hydra would work. I do like Craterhoof though, I'd forgotten about him. Thanks for the input!

RussischerZar, would you mind looking at my deck Simple Saproling Combo and seeing which of your brilliant suggestions you would recommend for that deck specifically?

Depends on what you mean by bomb. Beastmaster Ascension is beastly if you have 7 creatures out, which shouldn't be hard with green.

Uhm, I just took at look at your combo and have to say that if you have Life and Limb and Sporemound out, then play a land or create a saproling, you will force a draw, unless you also have Blasting Station , in which case you just instantly win.
Why a draw? Sporemound creates a saproling which is also a forest. Since a land entered the battlefield Sporemound triggers, creating another saproling, triggering again etc. It's not a 'may' effect thus it will trigger indefinitely as long as you control both the Sporemound and Life and Limb . If an effect continues to trigger indefinitely without the players being able to do anything, the game results in a draw.
Other than that if you fight vs massive life-gain, the best card would be Triumph of the Hordes , other than that it's probably the Craterhoof Behemoth , since both cards win you the game on the turn they're played.

Thanks, I know of the dangers of the combo I'm running, that's why I have all that enchantment removal. And I agree, the most efficient win is probably Triumph. And by the way, DaShPrime, Beastmaster Ascension is probably my favorite card ever... I can't believe I didn't think of it.

Craterhoof Behemoth , 'nough said. Primordial Hydra could also be nice, or maybe Thornling .
