I'll start by saying that I don't normally play standard. With the release of RTR I wanted to build an Azorius Control deck. My idea was to use cheap creatures with detain backed by bounce and board wipes until I could drop Archon of the Triumvirate and Martial Law . Please take a minute to look over the deck, all suggestions are appreciated.

Yeah I've been trying to get my hands on a couple copies of her since AVR. I dont really want to spend $$, but I may have to if i want this deck to be competitive.

@bman5604, The cost of that deck is insane. Im trying to build my own deck, not copy. While I do like they way that deck looks, I could not justify spending that much cash.
@Skythe, I agreee Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is great for this deck, and I am considering getting a copy or 2.
I'm looking for some suggestions on what to add/remove from my current list. I'm considering Syncopate , but is it really that good? At best its a 2 mana counter, beyond that doesn't Dissipate do that same thing for less cost?

to andser on Syncopate . Syncopate can be cast for less namely 2mana. Syncopate can force the opponent to tap out by paying mana equel to what they have on field.
the downside over Dissipate is most likely that Syncopate loses power if you have less avaible mana then your opponent(shoulnt happen if playing control but it still does). and Dissipate has has just a standard cost of 3.

I didnt even consider forcing my opponent to tap out. Im going to have to make room for a couple copies. Any suggestions for the sideboard? I was thinking some hate would be good. My standard pool is very limited, Ill take some time today to look through it and see what i have.
Skythe says... #2
2-3 Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
4 Jace, Architect of Thought
3x Terminus
It's only about 260$ extra. :D
No, but seriously, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is a pretty good choice.
