Need help on Standard Mono Black!!

So I was away for a bit when the rotation occured, and my Mono-Black deck Blessed Perfection is now about half out =(. So I come to you today, Tappedout, to help me make this deck great again!

What I'm considering for now. Tormented Soul (in place of Vault Skirge ), card:Runechanter's Pike (in place of lashewrithe), Mutilate (for card:Black Sun's Zenith), Tribute to Hunger for the card:Geth's Verdict, then probably make 4 Duress and Sign in Blood .

Is there more lifegain? What decent (2 CMC) removal can I get? If I want the card:Runechanter's Pike to do some damage, I need to rid myself of some creatures.

I want to keep the same steady tempo it currently has (turn 6-7 wins, usually. And when it wins, it wins hard. Losses are usually extremely close. This deck has yet to be stomped out.), so I don't want to throw in anything huge like Necropolis Regent or Desecration Demon , I would think.

All suggestions are very much appreciated and will be taken into consideration!!! PLEASE note, I REALLLY want to keep this think Mono black, and if it just can't happen, it'll be B/G.
