looking for some ideas for a deck based on making an opponent discard. game plan is to go black/white think that gives me a lot of cards to work with. just can't think of many cards that benefit from a opponent having no cards in hand or discarding. Any cards come to mind that would fit?

What mike said. Hymn to Tourach is one heck of a card, but only if it's legal.

Don't forget to also include creature removal in the deck as well, because if you can take out both his hand resources, and take out his board presence; you get to take the upper hand, just be sure not lose you entire hand while you're depleting your opponent's resources.

And also be sure to have some exile cards, incase of reanimator match-ups[or if able to just play Deathrite Shaman , ]. As you will just end up helping them out unless keep Unburial Rites out of their hand and graveyard. In which of you should have Appetite for Brains in your sideboard and along with either Rest in Peace . Tormod's Crypt , or Grafdigger's Cage

And your own cards generally will not benefit from your opponent being empty handed, but it reduces the chances of your opponent being able to respond to what you do, if you empty their hand.

No Hand! this is what i made u so far. was going to have white in there bu there's so many cards to use just in black. still thinking of adding green maybe. tested it a few times works ok so far but feels like it needs something. maybe a creature that can finish the game for me that's hard to kill?

If you can consistently get your opponents hand emptied while staying alive yourself, getting out 1-2 Shrieking Affliction can kill them quite fast along with adding red for a pair of Sire Of Insanity I think those might help, maybe you could go jund colors, green for Farseek and Deathrite Shaman exile ability, and red for the sire, just keep the rest black with discard, solid blocks and lots of removal. Hope that helps a bit, definitely Shrieking Affliction though, cheers!
