So I'm running Onslaught Block Constructed Permission deck in an Onslaught block tournament and I'm having trouble with a couple decisions that I was hoping this wonderful community could help me out on. In particular I'm having a hard time deciding between Wing ShardsMTG Card: Wing Shards and wind-born-muse and between void-mage-prodigy and ComplicateMTG Card: Complicate, void-mage-prodigy or DiscombobulateMTG Card: Discombobulate.

Windborn MuseMTG Card: Windborn Muse Voidmage ProdigyMTG Card: Voidmage Prodigy. These things need an edit button.

i personally find Windborn MuseMTG Card: Windborn Muse more restrictive for the other person as usually on any given turn unless you play control you will generall wana be tapping out each turn to play the most efficient plays possible and this git means you either don't play stuff or attack especially with a weeny deck for example. but the Wing ShardsMTG Card: Wing Shards i suppose is not vulnerable to removal so its all about the decks you expect to see. i wasn't around for onslaught but i would say use the muse. i also think that the Voidmage ProdigyMTG Card: Voidmage Prodigy is better cuz its a guaranteed counter but again it is still vulnerable to removal which brings us full circle once again! lol. finally i LOVE DiscombobulateMTG Card: Discombobulate i mean awesome name, proper counter (none of this 'or pay 1 or 3' bollocks and it has an awesome deck fixing built in, great spell definitely use that! :-)

i would say go with the Windborn MuseMTG Card: Windborn Muse as it is a constant deterrent and will prevent people from attacking with large numbers of creatures and playing spells at the same time, i suppose it depends on how well you can get a high storm count, but I would usually go with the muse, but side the Wing ShardsMTG Card: Wing Shards if you can. also, void mage is more reusable than DiscombobulateMTG Card: Discombobulate, and cheaper. I personally don't like having to pay four for a counter, but it is good deck fixing, so it depends on how readily you can get mana. also, i don't usually run soft counters like ComplicateMTG Card: Complicate, especially since it costs three, but it really depends on how many wizards you'll be able to sacrifice.
