Hey Everyone,

I'm brand new to Magic and this is my first real deck. It's a primary green deck with some white and multicolor. The basic idea is to mana ramp using elvish mystic and other similar creatures and then spam high cost creatures like arbor colossus and garruk's horde. There are also a fair amount of defensive spells in there to offset any ramp time. I'd really appreciate any feedback on how I can improve it, especially concerning the sorceries and enchantments.

Thanks for the feedback and Merry Christmas :)

Oh shoot, I should have mentioned I'm keeping the deck within standard. :P My bad. I'm trying to use this for local FNM. But thanks anyways!

Gideon, Champion of Justice could be good if you're looking for a cheaper big creature. Also Sylvan Primordial is just ridiculous in multiplayer. As far as ramp goes Selesnya Signet Gyre Sage Boundless Realms is good. Elvish Visionary is good card draw. Phytoburst for pumping creatures isn't bad it is sorcery speed though.Nylea, God of the Hunt Skarrg Goliath

osang21 I like the idea of Archangel of Thune and Ajani, Caller of the Pride for the main deck. Would Voice of Resurgence be viable as a main deck card? It seems like it would be better suited in the sideboard to deal with Izzet type decks.

Fairseas I really like Selesnya Signet but it isn't in standard :/ I should get at least one copy of Nylea, God of the Hunt though.

G/W is all about the lower mana costs for bigger guys, both Loxodon Smiter and Fleecemane Lion offer big bodies for lower costs.

Voice of Resurgence is crazy expensive and is not the all-star that it used to be; be mindful of your choices if you actually "need" it, both for your deck and wallet's sake.

As for Archangel of Thune , it's pretty safe to say that you're going to want Trostani, Selesnya's Voice in there so that when you ever curve out well, you're curving into T4 Trostani and T5 Archangel, making the Archangel 4/5 immediately instead of just 3/4.

As of now, my Godhand progression is T1 Forest -> Elvish Mystic , T2 Forest -> Elvish Mystic , T3 Forest -> Arbor Colossus , T4 Plains -> Karametra's Acolyte . Then on T5 I can play literally any card in my deck and can spam large creatures. Adding Trostani, Selesnya's Voice would create a very nice cycle with Giant Adephage . But I would think those are T5/T6 plans, Maybe even T7.
