Need Some Oloro Combs
Deck Help forum

Well, I was reading about Oloro, Ageless Ascetic , and liked it's interaction with Exquisite Blood and thought that would be a fun deck, slowly bleeding my opponents while fueling myself. So what I want to know is if there are any good cards in it's colors for draining my opponent's life, or can do a lot of damage to everyone (taking advantage of my commander's life gain, of course). Something that lasts for a while, like artifacts or enchantments. Thanks!
Pristine Talisman is a great interaction. Sanguine Bond works pretty well. My personal favorite is Glacial Chasm . Archangel of Thune and Ajani's Pridemate have great synergy and can get nutty pretty fast.. Vizkopa Guildmage can quickly help end the game. Bloodchief Ascension is also a great game ender that you can quickly rack up damage. Well of Lost Dreams is another version of Oloro that you can use when oloro doesn't stick on board. Cradle of Vitality lets all of your creatures get passively bigger each turn. Angelic Accord can allow you to put some real pressure on the board. And of course Drogskol Reaver just doubles your card draw. My other favorite card to use with him is Tainted Sigil . It can really gain some amazing life gain on a single turn that you can also draw a card with using Oloro.

The best thing I have found is that if you visit the gatherer page for your general and look at the comments people have commented with combos.

MR H3AT you do know that Glacial Chasm makes you pay more and more life each turn right? It's not always going to be just 2 life, it'll be 2, then 4, then 6, then 8, then 10 and so on.

@Demarge Yes I do understand that. I usually just save it until towards the end if things start getting out of hand or before any sort of lethal damage. It is just a situational defensive card. If you play it after you have Oloro out plus all of the other crazy lifegain mechanics then usually that upkeep tends to be not too effective, but not being able to take damage from infinite combos or some crazy Comet Storm for a few turns really can make it worth it.
