I'll visit an event this week, but don't have a modern deck built yet and no time to assemble a new one. So I want to modify this one for modern format.
Teenage Mutant Ninja... What, no Turtles?
The cards that have to go out are
What I need are suggestions on how to replace them, hints on the common modern meta, and of course pointing out any other modern-illegal cards I missed.
Oh, two more things: Please comment on this thread, not on the the deck list. It's gonna stay a legacy build. Also, I am aware that the deck is not the most competitive of all times. No need to post stuff like "you're taking that to an event?! OMG ROFLMAO!!" or the like.

I realised that it's stupid to ask for hints when people have to guess which cards I own, so I've spent some time browsing the cards in my storage, and here's a first batch of cards i could include:
4 Augury Owl , 2 Counsel of the Soratami , 2 Bident of Thassa , 2 Bow of Nylea , 4 Inkfathom Infiltrator , 4x Tandem Lookout , 3 Kodama's Might , 4 Giant Growth , 4 Birds of Paradise , 1 Ghostform , 1 Blustersquall , 3 Aqueous Form , 1 Sol Ring , 1 Deathrite Shaman , 4 Ornithopter , 4 Viridian Claw , 4 Fireshrieker ... Gah, there's still so much to go through... well, not today.

maybe add 4x Birds of Paradise and 3x Tandem Lookout ?

Well, the ramp from birds of paradise is alluring, but they have so little synergy with the rest of the deck. Augury Owl would give me scry and is great to bounce, while Giant Growth has some nice interactions with Master Biomancer and Champion of Lambholt . Tandem Lookout isn't as good as Bident of Thassa, but that is a few turns slower. Inkfathom infiltrator is fitting but redundant, fireshrieker doubles sabotage effects... Hm.

4x Chord of Calling for Green Sun's Zenith . Its quite expensive tho. You can use the cheaper Fauna Shaman as a tutor.
