Modern Burn Deck Wins is what I have been building for a while.

I got second place at a GPT a couple weeks ago and my loses were to BW tokens round one and to American control in the finals.

I have been to two other GPT's, one that was before my second place finish, and one this past weekend. My first one was really just trying out competition since it was the first big tournament I had even been to. The one last weekend was interesting. Last weekends GPT consisted of me going into round four undefeated, 3-0 in rounds and 6-0 in games. I was feeling good. My matched was against Adnosium. I had never played that deck and game one I won because he could not como off. The whole game I was confused at what he was doing because he had Phyrexian Unlife out and was just stalling. Game two went differently. I sided in my War Priest of Thune because I was thinking he might have leyline of sactity. I drew my hand. A god hand. The hand that I can win on turn 3. I although did not have the War Priest of Thune . He started off with the Leyline of Sanctity . He eventually combo off. Game three went terribly with me misplaying. Round five was against twin and he got his combo off turn four every game. I did not keep the right hand.

TL;DR, I had a really good GPT experience and a really bad one.

I need to take it up a notch. Anything it takes. I am going to GP Richmond.
