Nemesis of Mortals based deck?

I love Nemesis of Mortals but I don't feel like a deck based on him can work, any ideas?here's what I have so far Nemesis of Mortals
With ISD going out the self mill combo power that was available will be gone I personally don't see Nemesis of Mortals being too viable in Standard, but in Casual/Modern it could be.

Grisly Salvage , Treasured Find , Deadbridge Chant , self mill is one of my favorite types of decks, and with all the awesome Golgari cards we have, I think we could definitely come up with some competitive ideas. Actually this is something I plan on working on soon. Being that almost my entire self mill deck just rotated out, I was pretty happy when I saw Nemesis of Mortals for the first time! Plus there are plenty of cheap blue mill cards you could easily use on yourself.

The main idea I'm having is to have a big creature like Nemesis of Mortals or a pumped up Lotleth Troll enchanted with Alpha Authority and Baleful Eidolon to just keep swinging and killing off their blockers until I can swing for lethal. Hopefully Nighthowler can also play his role... just trying to get it right, trick is to have enough creatures to load the yard wihtout losing out on the other spells I need.

I'd drop Baleful Eidolon for Bow of Nylea . It's cheaper on mana and presents more options. But definitely fill out your deck with deathtouch. A Howler bestowed on Nemesis is pretty ruthless. Really, I think you have your start there. Deathtouch for sure, and then play Lotleth Troll as well. He can offer another wincon too since he's easy to beef up and he has trample.

Yeah, I don't want to splash red but definitely having 4x Wasteland Viper in there, maybe Slaughterhorn too. I want creatures that do things rather than other spells so I can make the most of Nighthowler and get Nemesis of Mortals out and monstrous early, don't want to self-mill non-creature cards.

Well it's not technically "self mill" I have found that Commune with the Gods works REALLY well as a way to enable the nemesis.

Because of Bow of Nylea isn't a creature and only effect attacking creatures I wasn't sure about it, but its other abilities do seem useful...

I've almost got this deck sorted but I'm looking for something to shuffle my library incase I need a card I have in the yard, I can use Bow of Nylea 's last ability to out upto 4 cards from my graveyard to the bottom of my library but that's not very helpful. I was thinking maybe 2x Gatecreeper Vine or Burnished Hart ? I'd still rather use creatures rather than other spells but as I'm in black I could put in Diabolic Tutor as well... thoughts?

Jarad's Orders is a good shuffle effect that will also give you exactly what you want, and stock up the yard.

When I saw him I started thinking of the applications in modern. My first thought was dredge with Stinkweed Imp and others.
