I think the best this to tell you is to not be nervous.

I was really nervous before I ever played. In fact, I played my first ever tournament less than a week ago. More than anything, the game is for fun, and unless you have a particularly competitive playgroup everyone will probably think of it that way. Where I was, people were giving advice left and right and had smiles on their faces.

And of course, winning is nice every once in a while, haha.

So just don't worry, and don't let your nervousness get to you! I think you have a unique build that no one will expect, so that may be an advantage for you.

FNMs are fun and full of people just like you! I went to my first FNM with a buddy of mine and we both got into the top 4. Consider it a learning experience. Once you got a taste of your meta you can tweak your deck to match it and prevail. You will gain vast knowledge of the game's mechanics and become a better player no matter if you win or lose. Go have fun and enjoy playing with others and good luck!

You could always show up slightly lit to take the edge off. If you're like me, you'll probably lose the first match to your own handicap, but that just means the rest of the day has easier match-ups.
