Deck Help forum

Hey guys, so I'm new to the game and am really trying to come up with a cool deck to play. I don't plan on playing at any tournaments or anything like that, I just want something to play with my friends. My friends play Legacy and Commander, and a couple are also just hoping in... So, to the point:
After playing Duels of the Planeswalkers 13, and doing some hefty research, I've come to the conclusion that I'd like to run a fast Aggro deck with Primordial Hydra and Corpsejack Menace. I've made multiple decklists on here, but all my playtests end in a really inconsistent mess...
Sofar, I'm really liking the principle of this: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=456049
However, I'm not sure how effective it would be in Legacy; nor do I think its fast enough for my taste. So, can anyone help me out? I'm very stuck. Any ideas?
And I've just realised that Wizards have spelt the word 'plow' wrong. It's plough.

@ChiefBell, i have never seen plow spelled that way in america. It must be different for us americans. Same way that "color" for us is "colour" for you.

@ChiefBell "Do you have any favourite colours to play or strategies? Am I right in the impression that you like having massive creatues?"
In all the card games I play, my prime strategy involves swarming massive creatures as quickly as possible. With that being said, I usually always try to make sure that there are some tricks up my sleeve to make sure I'm not easily disrupted. Sofar, I'm definitely a fan of Green and Black; and I also REALLY like Primordial Hydra .
That being said, however, I'm willing to deviate. Also, I love dragons.
Not sure if that helps. lol.

Green provides big creatures. Black provides tricks to remove the opponents' things.

@ChiefBell: Yeah, that's why I've been trying to work with it. The only problem I'm having is finding cards to use. I've been thinking of using things like Mox Emerald and Mox Jet to try and speed up my deck; as well as using Early Harvest to reuse the lands that I have and build up more creatures in single turns. As far as saving my own creatures, I've debated using Swiftfoot Boots and Sheltering Word . I'd just like some suggestions or ideas for big monsters and spells that work well in Legacy. Again, I've got a limited knowledge of about 1 week of research. lol.

I think the best thing to do would be to post a deck list (not in this thread - I mean post an actual deck) and then link it in the thread. In the deck description you can write out your aims and what you want. Then people can give you advice, whilst also seeing the cards that you've already considered.

You type double brackets around a card name to link that card so - [ [corpsejack menace] ] (without the spaces inbetween the brackets) gives Corpsejack Menace .
I agree that it would be a fairly slow deck and extremely disruptable in legacy with things like Swords to Plowshares and any board wipe or general creature removal. I wouldn't class it as aggro at all - it's more like mid-range. Mediumly large creatures. The overall problem with a combo deck is that if someone removes a single piece of the combo the entire deck suffers and you have a major problem. This makes combo decks very delicate.
Do you have any favourite colours to play or strategies? Am I right in the impression that you like having massive creatues?
