Nissa and Jace?
Deck Help forum

I have maybe an odd question, but I am very curious: Is there a way to make Jace, Memory Adept and Nissa Revane work well together? I was challenged by my friend for this, but I really do not see how milling and creature ramp would be efficient. If anyone has an idea, I would like to know. Thanks. :)
I can see that. Are there any old (preferably cheap) elves that have draw card abilities? I would like to use them to take advantage of card:Jace's Erasure.

Elvish Visionary isn't old, but it is cheap.

When combining the two, you shouldn't really think of Jace, Memory Adept as a milling card; he also draws cards! So why not just make a G/U Elf deck? With some card draw assisted by Jace and the first ability of Nissa you'll get plenty of Elves out, and you could even include a short number of counterspells (e.g: Voidslime ) to stop board wipes. Blue can also use things like Sleep to let the Elves just wade in unopposed.

That's true, but Jace, Memory Adept is really, REALLY inefficient if you only use his +1. The Elf mill control seems like an entertaining casual deck.

Jace, Architect of Thought or Jace Beleren would be way better then memory adept. architects -2 twice is killer and belerens -1 three times is good. even his +2 is decent, letting your oponent draw a card isnt bad as long as u have some implement of card destruction or hand seeing.

Thanks a ton guys. I think I will try both and see which is better. I will report on my findings.
Sorry, Treevore, but my friend challenged me with Jace, Memory Adept . Mostly cuz if I can get them to work, he will give me another Nissa Revane . :)

think of elf ramp, ramping mana into a Sands of Delirium , I've seen it work and dumping 10+ mana per turn on sands plus Jace's "0" is gg in no time at all xD

If your going for a mill deck and are still using creatures as a defense you can put those card:Nissa's Chosen to double duty with Altar of Dementia use Nissa to get the chosen for protection then at end of their turn sac the chosen to the altar to mill some cards. If you happen to get a bunch of elves out or perhaps a Joraga Warcaller multikicked you could sac all your creatures to finish off their deck. I've used it in here as a finisher : Elf Blade Most people don't expect it

Elfball was an old archetype where you powered a massive Fireball with a bunch of mana elves. You could do the same with Increasing Confusion or Psychic Drain , powered by Nissa and Elvish Archdruid with Doorkeeper backup.

Ah yes. I kinda have that going on with card:Blue Sun's Zenith. I will look for Increasing Confusion though.

nisa can keep getting you chump blockers using her +1 whilst jace can mill then out as a win con? with Doubling Season both planeswalkers would survive well add some ramp for early game accel to play the season and walkers and bobs your uncle :-)
