No comments, no nothing?

Deck Help forum

Hi all....this is my first post on this particular forum, and I'm just wondering: can I get some feedback on my deck(s)? I've "deckcycled" a few of them, and some of them have a over a hundred views, but no comments whatsoever, save one, where he liked the name of the deck, but had no other input. LOL

I'd enjoy some constructive criticism on what others think works, what doesn't etc. I'm open to card and/or strategy suggestions, as long as it remains constructive. Doesn't help much when someone just says "Card X sucks" and gives no input for what would be better in it's place.

Thanks!

Just taking a quick glance at your decks, I can say that they need descriptions. People in general are lazy and dont want to have to look at 100 different cards and figure out all the different interactions. Give them a summary of what direction you are taking the deck and a list of the most common/powerful combos/interactions/synergy. This way people have an idea of what you want and what suggestions to make.

Also, EDH and Standard are the most played formats on here but even with EDH, there is still a limited audience. It may take some time and some patience. However, if you are looking for immediate input try MTGSalvation.

No problem. Don't get discouraged if your deck isn't getting the feedback you think it deserves. Try a couple tricks. A clever or strange name can make your deck stand out amongst the hundreds deckcycled every day. Maintain a good discussion with the people already commenting on your deck - there's a good chance that people will continue to help you if they showed enough interest to comment and you showed enough interest to reply.

Agreed. I try to apply that philosophy on all forums I join. :-)
