Offering EDH deck help!

Deck Help forum

A while back, I promised the TappedOut community a set of articles. I am no less busy now than I was then, but I am dedicating the time to compose and publish a series of EDH articles for the benefit of our players. In preparation for this work, I am offering my services as a veteran EDH player. Post your decks here and I'll take a look.

Each post should contain:

  1. A link to the deck.
  2. A description of what the deck is supposed to do.
  3. Any design limitations you have (e.g. no infinite combos).
  4. Your approximate budget.
  5. The kind of meta for which the deck is built (e.g. casual, tournament, etc.).

You may remember me submitting a deck before, but It was a giant wall of text. I understand if you just glazed over it and didn't read it, because that was silly of me. Anyway, here's my latest little project:

  1. Mimeoplasm Wreckingball.
  2. Get out big creatures, and either copy them, or my opponents better creatures, then beat my opponents to a pulp. Also, does a copied spell trigger "enter the battlefield" effects? (e.g - using Clone on Thragtusk )
  3. My playgroup almost universally hates any control aspects. Counter-spells, removal, anything that "makes their deck worse" or is "unfun" or "fun for only me". A tad silly, but I'd rather just go with it than argue with them.
  4. I would like to keep it fairly low budget. As much as possible, but I'm willing to spend a bit on it. ($5 here, $4 there, even bought the Lord of Extinction for about $12). But I'm allowed to use proxies for up to 5 cards in the deck, whose value must be under $50. (they wouldn't let me proxy Doubling Season though.)
  5. In my playgroup - there is a Radha, Heir to Keld elves deck, a Borborygmos Enraged ramp/aggro deck, and a Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts deck. The best player in the group is the Teysa one, who voltrons her a lot, and uses Pacifism , Oblivion Ring , One Thousand Lashes , and other such annoying enchantments. None of them are particularly competitive, but they have the potential to pull off crazy stuff if left unchecked. the borborgymos player can, for example, consistently play Worldspine Wurm , and sometimes even uses Fling on it.

  1. ob nix..LAND...ilis
  2. the deck is designed to win via commander damage by pumping the commander up with lots of land drops, secondary win conditions are Exsanguinate with lots of mana accelerators out, or to pump up one of the shades using said mana :)
  3. no particular design limitations :)
  4. no particular budget, i have a decent income and not a lot else to spend it on :P (apart from car/gf :P)
  5. this is designed for casual but competitive play

thanks in advance :)

    Gaddock Teeg EDH

This deck is designed to shut down alot of the opponents options, buying time to get out one of the many Win Cons.

The only design limitation: No banned cards.

Budget: Ideally, I would like to keep it under $300, but I will push that limit if it comes to it.

This deck is for casual play.
