Pick 1 of each; 1 Creature and 1 Spell (Enchantment, Instant, sorcery, artifact, or Planeswalker) that you believe a Vampire deck absolutely should not go without.
example: Vampire Nighthawk and Blood Tribute
Thanks guys : D
FWIW, creatures are technically spells.

Already some great idea's, I had never even heard of Diabolic Revelation , Vampiric Tutor , or Olivia Voldaren , and I totally overlooked Stromkirk Noble when I originally had seen the card.

Baron Sengir in my opinion is King of the Vampires. Is this an EDH deck you're building?

What does EDH stand for? Im pretty new to MTG, I have quite a lot of vampires and I love the play style that B/R offers. So I'm building a BR vampire deck, I was hoping to rely on tons of life steal and some black spells for my sustainability.

Check out my deck Vish Kal's Vampire Legion it is my main and favorite deck. It runs differently than you want it too, but it is still an all vamp deck, so there will be a base idea for you. Also, look into Sorin, Lord of Innistrad He is amazing in a vamp deck. As is Bloodline Keeper Flip and Necropolis Regent . Necropolis Regent is one of my favorite cards in my deck. Though Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter is definitely my favorite.

EDH or Commander, is a casual format where you pick one legendary creature and he/she is your general. You then have a 99 card deck with no duplicates except for basic lands. It's a multiplayer format where you start the game at 40 life instead of 20. Your commander stays out of play but you can summon it like normal(just as if it was in your hand). If your general does 21 points of COMBAT damage or more to a single player, that player loses the game. Each time your general dies, it goes out of play and you can summon it again for it's casting cost and 2 extra colorless mana for each time it dies. Guys, did I forget anything?

EDH stands for Elder Dragon Highlander by the way.

Oh and the only colors you're allowed to have in your deck are the colors of your general. So if Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter was your general, the only cards you'd be allowed to have in the deck are White cards, Black cards, or a mixture of the two...No Green, Red or Blue...not even cards with the Green , Blue or Red mana symbols. You can, however have colorless cards obviously.

Commander and general mean the same thing, sorry for the confusion.

Stromkirk Captain and Diabolic Revelation I actually run an all vampire deck. :) It is on my deck list, I'll update it now so that it is current. This is the first deck I made, and still my favorite to play.
