Oxid Ridge or koth?

I am making a dragon deck which will be good until Scars block rotates out, and i've posted it on my page Elmarias I have it set up as early game burn and goblins with a mid-late game dragon stomp. When new phyrexia comes out, i will be replacing a few cards with a playset of geosurge to have the slim possibility of a turn 2 dragon. For now, i am running hero of oxid ridge as a turn 4 drop (turn 3 if pyretic ritual) and it has been helping me out a lot in games, especially against aggro decks.I have been getting comments and others telling me Koth would be better than hero.What would your opinions be, and Why? Hero of Oxid Ridge , or Koth of the Hammer ?

If you're planning on playing Geeosurge, then Koth's +1 might be wasted on less land drop. As for your aggro fight, Slagstorm is still a powerful choice.
