Phyrexian Crusader vs Bloodline Keeper

Deck Help forum

I'm changing my UB infect deck to a more traditional UB control deck. Most of the decks I play against however are some variation of WW, and most use removal as Oblivion Ring and Fiend Hunter . While Fiend Hunter is not as much of an issue since it can be hit by removal, Oblivion Ring cannot be dealt with in this deck if it resolves. Part of the reason why my UB infect deck (ub-infect-go-updated for those who are curious) did decently at the local FNM is because Phyrexian Crusader was just untouchable to these WW decks.

This brings me to my current dilemma. I studied LSV's list for Ideas, and he used the Bloodline Keeper  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Lord of Lineage in his sideboard for some match ups (including WW) and I have to say, it did seem pretty sweet. However, Phyrexian Crusader can just win games by itself being a very aggressive creature that can also be very defensive.

What's the opinion? What should take up the sideboard slots here? Phyrexian Crusader or Bloodline Keeper  Flip  FlipMTG Card: Lord of Lineage

(Also, please check out my deck UB No Liliana Control and feel free to share some ideas. They would be greatly appreciated)

I personally love both cards. However I would have to side with the crusader on this one. It's got the oh crap factor that mirrian crusader ( the black boogeyman) has as it hits the table, plus no one expects it because not that many people play infect. And it just strolls through white and red defenses.

I agree the crusader is the better of the two cards in this case as it can be a great defender and it is also very aggressive.

For what he does on a 3 drop I would side with Phyrexian Crusader in this situation

If you're running infect/aggro, go with Crusader. If anything else, go with Bloodline Keeper and put Crusaders in your sideboard.

Nothing short of a DOJ can kill the crusader. Trust me, I've been there. The vamp is goof, but takes a large investment. Also the Ratchet Bomb s in all control deck kill it
