Playing in a Modern tourney tomorrow... Which deck???

Hey folks! I could use your excellent insight and wisdom in helping me choose which deck to play in a Modern tourney tomorrow. The LGS I'm playing at tomorrow generally has a lot of Spikes and top tier decks....

My gut tells me to play this one:

Well I would tell you to play whichever deck you'll have the most fun with.

As a veteran modern player, I would recommend This Deck Sucks on Saturday because it looks to be the best equipped to deal with a variety of threats. You should really try to get your hands on Inquisition of Kozilek and/or Thoughtseize if you can though.

I'm assuming this is not your first modern tournament, is it?

That's funny, the Saturday deck is the one I was least leaning towards lol. Unfortunately, I can't swing for a playset of Thoughtsieze, hence the budget discard.

I've played many a Legacy, Limited, and Standard tourney, but this is my first go at competitive Modern.

I second EvenDryke opinon: play whichever deck you'll have the most fun with.

OTOH, I'd also go with This Deck Sucks on Saturday, I also think that's the best option against the current Modern metagame. Regarding discard, Thoughtseize is overpriced indeed, but Inquisition of Kozilek discards almost everything relevant in Modern. Also, I'd not recommend Despise : you have removal to deal with creatures. IMO, it's better to replace Despise by another couple of Duress . I run a deck (Rakdos Infection) that's heavily dependent on discard and removal. While I wasn't able to get my hands on playset of Inquisition of Kozilek , I played with Duress , which is pretty decent in Modern, namely against decks running blue :)
