Exactly what bman5604 said.

We will need a more specific price range. If it's just casual (not planning in playing in FNM or Tournaments) please let us know.

Format does mater... I could send you lists for budget EDH decks, if your friends are not playing with the same rules as you, it wont help you... Also if your friends are playing competitive legacy decks, a budget standard deck will not give you any fun... Ask them, if they play for a longer time than you, they will know what format they play.

zziRVincent, if your only reason for playing Magic is to beat your friends, I advise you to find a different hobby. Why are you unable to design your own deck? That's one of the core factors of the game, and one of the most fun ways to approach and interact with cards, friends, and your own thought process and critical thinking skills. You're doing yourself a disservice by not thinking independently.

I thought about posting some user decks on the site that fit your criteria, but I really feel like it would be less helpful than guiding you through the deckbuilding process. We can do that, you know.

Here is a listing of all user-submitted budget decks. Start browsing for something you like.

Jimhawk I can see ware you are coming from but my friends dont know about that they just want to win the the game i would really like to build my own deck but im not that educated about magic no one ever taught me i know the basic rules and that stuff but not that smart about making my own deck thats why i am looking for one.

Even if you have a "good budget deck", there is a skill factor involved. NO deck is 100% guaranteed to win no matter what the matchup is and it really comes down to the pilot.

It also sounds like you're trying to get revenge or something on someone if all you want to do is beat them. Do you play the game because you enjoy it or just trying to irritate them with a budge build?

I would suggest going to a local shop's Friday Night Magic and watch a few different games to see what your "playstyle" is more attuned to (aggressive or control for example)

Once you have this figured out, THEN you can start looking towards a deck to play (as you will be more excited to play that deck than other ones, and more likely to do well with it).

A good "overall" deck is going to be more expensive than $100 (look up Jund Midrange decks and you will see what I'm talking about)

Check this link. Some of them are pricy. But there are others that are cheaper.

You could make a deck with 32 creatures; 4 of which being Volatile Rig and 4 Infinite Reflection . So thats 32 creatures and 4 enchantments and then 24 lands. Build up enough creatures on the board, drop an Infinite Reflection on a Volatile Rig, and watch the fireworks. Nobody Wins! That'll really fix their wagons.

Nivix Cyclops Deck, you should be able to build that with scrap cards and spend less than $10 and it functions well
