Protecting Elves from burn

I need a way to protect my elves from early burn. What can I do? Eldrazi Elves Remastered. (Modern Version)

maybe something like Oak Street Innkeeper? i dont know if these cards are modern legal but how about Steely Resolve or Dense Foliage?

or you could just punch your opponent in the face if they try to play a burn spell, that's what I usually do
