Pyxis of Pandemonium

Deck Help forum

This isn't really a deck help post, so Epochalyptik may move it to where it belongs, but I was wondering if anyone knows any other "permanent" cards that can put multiple cards from your library onto the battlefield, regardless of the benefit it gives your opponents, like Pyxis of Pandemonium .

The reason I ask is because I saw someone use it in an EDH game where he got it out turn one and started using it's first ability as much as he could, then like turn 12 or 13, pop it and instantly get an infinite combo on the board for the win, so I wanted to know if there are any other cards that can do that shenanigan.

The most important counterpart to pyxis is scry 2 or using Dimir Charm you want to out draw and exile good cards but live to crack it which devotion could do easy. I believe its good for that esper devotion list with a little tweak for pyxis. Its only a gimmick card and would take a perfectly synced deck to execute and perfect play and some luck. In all it's too inconsistant and slow for standard. It's more meant to be a fun add for intro pack battles or kitchen table fun. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm thinking modern and legacy are definitely out of bounds and only maybe a turbofog standard could use it. But EDH is slow enough that it works, i think.

Do you know any other cards that you can use to instantly get multiple combo pieces on the board with?
