Spazik008 what should I take out to make room for Dark Ritual?

I really have no idea, I'm not much of a Commander player. I just saw Sol Ring and noticed there was no Dark Ritual to go with it.

Well, this is the point where it becomes a real life consideration as much as a deckbuilding consideration. Certain cards cost money and if you want the best cards you have to pay. But the tricky part comes from the fact that the best cards aren't always the most expensive. Lightning Bolt is a good card, also a very cheap card. I use 4 in my Modern deck. But Liliana of the Veil is also a good card, and I use her too. That card is much more expensive than bolt. But my deck wouldn't work without her.

Fortunately, I've owned my playset of Lilianas for a very long time, long before she reached the current price point she's at. But I think "could this deck work if I play a cheaper card" isn't a rabbit hole you want to go down. Dark Tutelage is a much cheaper card than Dark Confidant, but time has told us that this card doesn't work in the same capacity. It comes down a turn later and can't attack for damage. You better believe that if Dark Tutelage were comparable to Dark Confidant in any way the price point between the two cards would be very different. But they aren't. And if you're at the point where you have to make these types of considerations I feel like it's either time to scrap it or time to save up the budget and buy the cards you want.

Spazik008 I feel like I can make this deck work at a fairly cheap price point and then upgrade it later.

I understand that, and I'm not trying to be harsh in my assessment. I've been in your shoes before. There's a reason cards have the prices they do. It might work in the short term, for a game or two, maybe more. But ultimately in the long run you're going to want to bite the bullet and pay the price. Or play a different deck that's more affordable.

Lots of mana rocks. Also, cards that give more +1/+1 counters than you should otherwise get.

x12721 any specific cards that do those things?

LANDS: I would replace Transguild Promenade for Gateway Plaza, as it is a Gate. Opal Palace, as it gives Ramos +1/+1s and can produce any color.

CREATURES: Winding Constrictor is also a good +1/+1 counter card. Transguild Courier, a 4 drop five color card.

OTHER: Run cheap (colored) 1 drops/cantrips, if you cast four spells a turn, even if they are one color, Ramos still gets four counters.
