Ramp or Control

I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with my deck based around Venser, the Sojourner . Since he will be rotating soon, my card pool opens up tremendously and I can't decide wether to go with a ramp strategy or control strategy. The main win-con in the deck is Myr Battlesphere blinked by Venser or Cloudshift ed and then a -2 ability activation by Venser allows for an unblockable 20 point swing. Any thoughts?
