I noticed people are making new threads and wanting deck comments. Let's just have one thread and put everyone here!
Here's how you can do it: Just link your deck below! Keep the blurb about it SHORT or none at all; the link will do and just explain your deck in your deck's info page :)
The best ways to get comments on decks around the t/o community:
- People are usually interested in Standard Decks. They tend to get more comments in general around here.
- Feature your deck!! (When you upgrade or buy tokens) It'll be up on the main page!
- Comment on the decks of others and they'll usually have a look at your stuff and comment back!

Hey guys! My deck is already featured and has been before, but I'm going to be playing it at a local tournament this weekend and would reeeally like to win. I need some more feedback and suggestions for this deck against the current metagame. Sideboard advice, mainboard advice, anything will help. Again, really lookin to win something here lol. If you don't think it's a good enough deck to win just be honest and I'll play something else :)

Thanks in advanced with all the comments! If you suggest me take out or in something, please explain and I will argue my case of why I didn't do that before (friendly argue...just to make sure all angles have been looked at). Thanks again!!

@Zanven -oh oops lol didn't see what you said about the free feature to the first 9...I just featured mine oh well save it for someone else :)

That's fine; I'm just brushing my teeth before I go to bed, so checking it a few times prior to sleeping.
It looks good, and it is unusual enough that it can win.
Right now, I find Sarkhan and Lil in your deck to be glorified 5 mana discard or tutor engines. With Sarkhan the only critter you'd really need to turn into a dragon is the Gatekeeper, and with Lil, she's not going to survive to hit her ultimate and there's better discard options.
I'd consider axing them both for those 2 Sign in Blood s you were considering.
My main issue however is entirely with your sideboard. Your sideboard is set up with cards that modify your deck to make it better but aren't answers to different styles of decks. I know you have removal, and good removal but sometimes it just isn't enough. Malakir Bloodwitch is the best creature a black deck like this can SB just for the pro-white to deal with BS Angel, Path, Journey, and the dreaded Celestial Purge that people will SB in against you. Black Knight is also okay but I don't expect THAT much white to meta against.
I'd also drop Sorin and the extra Specter from the SB for more Earthquake ; a good board sweep like that can really help.

hmmm....well yeah, sarkhan has only helped me when I needed the persecutor gone so as awesome as he is, you make a good point and he is coming out. As for Liliana...I can't say how amazing she's been. Like today, I playtested this against a Jund deck and twice, I had persecutor(s) out and couldn't finish and eventually lost to burn or mass creatures. Liliana always tutors me the right card even if she is a bit slow...and she's always a target once I tutor.
Yeah good point about my sideboard. i need to get those bloodwitches by sat! ahh!!! and the Earthquake ...before today I was mainboarding 3 but it became a problem when I playtested. It was always a good boardsweep, but the multiple earthquakes just ended up hurting my life too much. And I'm scared what will happen when I add in sign of blood too. But if you are truly sure I should add in more I will. How many bloodwitches should I SB?

This is going to maybe be my Extended deck this summer if I can get all the cards, so it'd be nice if I got some advice. :)

Out the door on my way to work right now though so I won't be able to comment until I'm back, sorry.

Been working on a solid standard deck to compete with, and came up with Blue and white leveler draw control. It is some what themed around card draw to create an advantage to win the game. It is mostly a white / blue control / beat down deck. It tends to fare well against jund and the new naya vengevine variations. I hadn't really considered some of the less creature heavy decks like JLA / superfriends.
Would really appreciate any advice on it in general, or more specifically changes to the side board with opponents like JLA in mind.

This is probably going to be my new extended deck, I know I am missing Thoughtseize but it is very expensive and i don't have any.

this is my other deck that I am probably going to play in the new extended, I will probably play it first to try to stun my meta.

I have not featured any of my decks.

Hey guys, I'm a brand new magic player, and the deck above is my very first deck. Truthfully, I have no idea what the heck I'm doing, so any comment would be extremely helpful. Thanks

Featured, DeckBuilder345.
As for Akillics, honeymomo posted on yours that she featured it, so it's already in the queue.

Double-featured yours, Lettuceman44, and I'll comment on it in just a sec.

No problem!
I've got four tokens left for people that need to have their deck featured for discussion; the rest I need for an upcoming contest that I'm going to host.

Zanven , i gotta say, all the time and effort you put in to this is awesome. Again, (and on behalf of everyone) thank you!!!!
June 25, 2010 3:45 a.m.
Hey, no problem! It is really honeymomo's idea, I just happened to have a lot of tokens to put towards the cause because I love upgrading/donating to TO!
The next big push I want to make is towards the trading side of TO; I think I might just order up a bunch of cards and start trades as a matter of good-will to encourage it. I think the community here is legit and we'll all be able to trade and set up possibly some security measures like eBay has that are reliant on votes and trader scores.
June 25, 2010 3:51 a.m.
Yeah, thanks for helping Zanven :3 your comments are always well thought out.
Trade wise I've been sending commons out to people for fun :)

@ Zanven than you for featuring my deck. I really appreciate it.
June 25, 2010 12:18 p.m.
@Honeymomo thanks for featuring my Fairy deck, eventually I will take it to one of the new extended tournaments and we will see how it really works out. I play it at home, with friends and I played it at my local FNM it did spectacular in every game I played it in, the only problem I have is that it gets dominated regularly by Kithkin and the Dolmen Gate /card:Militia's Pride combo is devastating with Wizened Cenn on the field
June 25, 2010 12:26 p.m.
I love the concept for this deck, but I'm not too sure how to pull it off. It's totally casual, but the base idea is to control the board with Pestilence while your creatures regenerate. Here it is: Regeneration.
I hate to be pushy, but another deck I've been trying to perfect is my (standard!!!) ally deck - off-color-allies. I love the deck and its removal-y fun, but I think it could be better.
I'd rather only have one of the two all commented on and such just so I don't look like a douchebag for posting two decks, if that's ok.

Hydras V3 use creatures with X in the cost (Protean Hydra , Feral Hydra ) that go to +1/+1 counters, it has Doubling Season and ramp cards to put out high p/t creatures. I would really like my deck featured or at least some advice, Thanks.

@kronos539, momo featured your deck, so I didn't, just wouldn't want you to think your post went unnoticed!
@phorenox, featured your deck!
That's all for now from me, folks. I'll get some more tokens later to support this and future RMD threads but the remaining ones I have are for an upcoming contest. Keep your eyes peeled!

Great idea to make this thread!
I have a deck that I'd love to get some sort of feedback on. My Tribal-Warrior aggro deck I Am the Warrior has been around here since late April and, though it's received a few votes, I haven't really heard anyone else's thoughts on it.
I'm not looking for this deck to be featured (I'm sure everyone has better things to spend feature tokens on), I'd just like to make sure that I am on the right track and that I'm not completely overlooking something. Also, I don't currently have the entire deck purchased - so changes will be very easy to make, should I need to.
I'm going to personally go through each deck mentioned previously in this thread and at least give a rating to it, and of course any helpful suggestions if I can come up with any.
Thanks!

Hello all. I've been working on this deck for a while now and after playtesting it enough times, I think it's ready to be built IRL. I'd like to hear some comments on it!
SplinterMare! It uses Splinter Twin to copy Thundermare on their turn to keep the opponent's creatures tapped so they can't attack or block. It also has speedy Nova Chaser s who hit pretty hard, especially with no blockers.
I'd also like some comments on my JellyFeesh deck that uses Deep-Slumber Titan to make Renegade Doppelganger a 7/7 attacker on turn 3.
Let me know what you think!

I'm just toying around with the idea of an all-Red Valakut deck. I basically just threw this together from boosters, starters, and whatever promo cards I could get my hands on from DCI (hence the Hellspark Elemental and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle ).
Also, as a side note: Wouldn't it be fun to see what a Blood Moon would do for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle ?

This is legacy tournament fish with radical twists, great track record so far but very limited metagame in my neck of the woods. Maybe give a couple playtests and suggest some fine-tuning swaps? also having major troubles deciding on sideboard 8(

I can't figure out how to get the brackets right.
July 14, 2010 12:59 a.m.
lol double square brackets around the name of the deck
so [ [ "insert deck name here" ] ]
Im also looking for Some comments on this deck.
Now the idea is to get out Wild Evocation as early as possible. Then have enough of these high costed dangerous creatures in you hand so that you hit them when its randomly selected.
As it states cast the card playing the Mythic rare Eldrazi seem the way to go with a few other fun creatures.
Im thinking that this potentially could be quite a competitive deck and am keen to try and get as many peoples opinions about it as possible.
Thanks :D
ps. i know it said short blurb sorry.

I need any feedback I can get on my emrakut deck I have been toying with it and it is really good you just play it really similar to valakut with a few combos here and there thanks for all and any help
July 14, 2010 2:21 p.m.
heres a new idea I didn't say you can have that creature basicaly the idea is to keep your opponet off creatures by an early bolt or gaining control of it and sacing it to give +2/+2 to a creature. i would love advise on it.

Here's my latest Jund-Al-licious.
I've been playtesting an refining this deck like mad over the last 1 1/2 weeks. I'm kind of at an impass now. Any help or constructive input would be greatly appreciated.
I beat most decks. My hardest matchups are as follows;
Vs. Jund = it's a removal race, but I tend to win.
Vs. Grix control= same as Jund
Vs. RDW= 60/40 depending on my openning hand.
The rest is pretty good.
Vs. U/W control= I own
Mono anything + Eldrazi I stomp.
Thx Guys.

I'm willing to put 9 feature tokens towards this; anyone who has a deck they really want featured (that hasn't been featured before), just post it in here. Obviously limited to the first 9 people, or potentially three or four if I use multiple tokens on an entry.
