Red/Blue Deck help needed

I just recently got back into Magic after about 7-8 years of not playing. I attempted to build a Standard legal control/burn/creature deck, and then at my first Friday Night Magic... I got destroyed (not realizing how much as changed). I've heavily revised my deck (especially the creatures) and posted it on my profile. I'm keeping it post-rotation legal, and any suggestions on cards or more modern strategies would be greatly appreciated.
