Red/Blue Krenko FNM Failure

So I've been out of the game for about 8 months, and I entered my first standard tournament in ages literally minutes after this deck was built.
Partially due to inexperience/unfamiliarity with this deck, I got stomped my first 4 games. Once I got home and played casually with a friend I started doing a lot better, but still the deck didn't seem to flow as well as I thought.
I was under the impression that the current standard had everyone playing a lot of board wipe, and that I'd need to be worried about keeping my goblin hoard alive and functioning, but I actually had just the opposite problem.
I had a hard as hell time getting Krenko, Mob Boss out / alive due to the 4 mana issue (which the Goblin Electromancer + Battle Hymn helped with I figured out once I had dropped from the tourney) and if Krenko, Mob Boss DID get out, EVERY game I played he either got arrested, Oblivion Ring ed, Fiend Hunter 'd, or something similar.
I noticed that the Faithless Looting s didn't make much of a difference (and I'm starting to think there would be a better alternative... suggestions? since I'm playing blue as well) and I literally never played Teleportal ... would really love some suggestions on how to replace these.
Burn at the Stake always spelled out a victory if I got it off, and all my counters dealt with literally anything people threw at me, but that was in the rare event that I could get away with tapping all 4 for Krenko turn 4 or 5 and not get wiped before my mana untapped the next turn.
PLEASE give me suggestions here, I traded away a lot of my alternative deck components to get some Red/Blue dual lands for this deck.

What do you guys think on this other spin a friend and I built based on my original deck I took to FNM?
He plays a pretty good Delver deck and recommended I use some tempo and handcrafting techniques to better pull off the ol' Niblis/Krenko/Stakeburn combo.

I've gotten some good feedback, but everyone keeps recommending Guttersnipe and I don't know why but I just don't like him. I feel like maybe he's too high cost or something?
Two things that I feel like are out of place;
Lightning Mauler and MAYBE Ghostly Touch although I learned a sweet trick using it to untap a land and get Krenko, Mob Boss out a turn earlier.
Still debating what to replace Faithless Looting with... I just feel like I can burn my hand out way too fast and then I'm dead in the water.
Maybe I should replace them with Reforge the Soul or something? Opinions on that strategy? Never ran a deck with it.
