Self-Mill Counterspell Help

So my deck night-of-the-living-spiders is coming along very nicely; it utilizes milling and the graveyard in order to make creatures stronger and bigger. However, I'm having trouble incorporating counterspells and means of defending myself into this deck; any ideas? Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to increase milling (without incorporating blue), I'd love to hear them, but the main point of this post is to get help on how to incorporate cards like Tragic Slip into this deck.

It might not be very helpful given the toughness of your creatures but Golgari Charm can be a board wipe if your creatures are weak enough. Maybe fill it with more rats or 1 toughness guys to fill the graveyard with?

Thanks for the idea, I do have 4x Gravecrawlers and I'll consider maybe adding some rats or whatnot into the deck.
