Okay so I'm working on a Vorosh, the Hunter EDH deck and am seriously not happy with it so far. Being that vorosh is basically a huge beater I had thought focusing on the use of +1+1 counters and utility would be good for casual but the deck in my opinion kinda sucks. Or maybe I'm just overly crtitical of myself. Help please

I highly suggest picking a commander that costs 5 mana or less. In my experience, five is the biggest mana cost you can go in a deck without replacing a lot of the "meat" with ramp in order to reliably get your commander out quickly and let a synergistic deck do it's work. If you want to keep a bug deck, The Mimeoplasm works really well with self-mill and infect.
On top of that, using the commander to win with commander damage only works if you have a hexproof or indestructible creature. Target removal is the best way to shut down a voltron deck with a Murder -able creature. If you want to continue along your idea of beating face with your commander, I highly suggest Sigarda, Host of Herons , Lazav, Dimir Mastermind , Uril, The Mistalker, Thrun, the Last Troll , Geist of Saint Traft , Tajic, Blade of the Legion , or Sapling of Colfenor . (If you don't like any of those commanders, one last one that does particularly well is Zur the Enchanter because he can make himself hexproof/indestructible by the next turn.)
Here are decklists for each of those guys:
