!!SERPENTS!!

Deck Help forum

Thinking about building a serpent deck. A lot of serpents can't attack unless you'r opponent/defending player controls no islands. What is the best way to make my opponents lands, islands, in addition to their other types? Looking for a permanent that can do this for me.

A lot of serpents can't attack unless your opponent controls an* island. Opponent needs an island for them to be able to attack. I made a typo and said no islands in my original post.

Stormtide Leviathan should do the trick.

@landgrafb: Careful though. That last ability affects your creatures too, so if Stormtide Leviathan is the only creature in your deck with Islandwalk and/or Flying, it'll be the only thing allowed to attack once it hits the field

A merfolk subtheme can allow you to convert other lands into islandsTideshaper Mystic to name a couple Streambed Aquitects . Sure they're not really amazing but the disruption could be useful early on
