Shameless Standard deck promotion thread
Deck Help forum

Similar to the EDH deck promotion thread, this is for standard decks.
Looking for any and all suggestions for my deck, also general +1's would be nice. Post your decks below this and hopefully we can all get some helpful advice and such
The Picture of the Doctor should tell you ChiefBell, this is simply a 'hey look at my deck' post. And i agree with what you just said. It's kinda junky/cluttery and all around annoying.

Well, the picture of the doctor was kind of just a 'hey i like doctor who and look he's smiling we're all nice and helpful'(i also just learned how to post pictures here so i also just kinda wanted to add one). But it could be taken that way. I apologize if either of you have taken it that way ChiefBell Behgz, i'm honestly just looking for suggestions an or advice i'm always looking and in the process i'd love to help others on their own decks which is what the community here is for i think. But if it came across as a "Hey, look at me give me attention! +1 my deck thanks!" Kind of post then i apologize.

To be honest i like this format better. Instead of going through a bunch of different forum posts looking at everyones new decks, i can come too one, and its organized by format. That way I'm not getting a bunch of different notifications i need to follow to keep up.
Also,
Need input on whether i should replace the Daxos with Judge's Familiar and move the Daxos to side board for control mirrors.

@Slytherclawed I think you are missing the point. the Homepage is literally designed to showcase people's deck cycle's, to then go over to the forums and essentially 'deck cycle' again is the problem here. I kno others have done it before you, but this is how it stops, telling 1 person at a time..

I'm not mad. I'm just saying that we need to draw a line between actual deck help and not actual deck help.

If people do post for actual deck help in a thread like this i've found i've gotten many more responses than a simple deck cycle and it helps everyone, but it could just be me i suppose.

It's not necessarily about how helpful it is. It's about how it tells people it's ok to just post their decks everywhere - which would lead to chaos.

I don't mind this cos when you deckcycle its not gonna stay up there for too long. Max I ever got was like a minute or something :P
So if you genuinly need help then this is the better choice.

except if I cycle my deck, and then a dozen other people cycle their decks a couple mins later, then mine is no longer on the front page and my deck cycle has basically been voided because it only made my deck noticeable to the public for a minute or two. Even if I add all the hubs that are appropriate for my deck and people do a search, they still have to come across mine amongst the hundreds of others that show up under the same search. This is definitely a much better way to get more views and responses towards your deck because it'll be listed on the main page longer than a deck cycle will and then everyone going through the forum's will also come across the thread as well. Plus, the more people that respond the longer it keeps the thread up near the top further increasing your chances that someone sees your deck. anyways here's mine.... I really need some sideboard help so any advise will be welcome.... and control and aggro matchups are my toughest. more so control.

I always find these types of posts more helpful than deckcycling, people reading these are more interested in actually helping and commenting than just looking at my deck which is what seems to happen when I deckcycle.
Anyways you guys may or may not have seen my infinite standard combo deck that the whole thing costs less than $30 but I'll post about how awesome it is and 'shamelessly promote' anyway XD
looking for any suggestions you might have, my current card debate is Inspiration or Steam Augury , please post on my actual deck and not here :) Thanks in advance

Why is everyone doing this? There's a reason the website has a frontpage which shows you the latest deckcycles. I think it's a bad precedent to set to start allowing everyone to post advertisement threads about their decks. You can imagine that soon the forums will be flooded with this kind of thing if it's deemed ok. There's a thin line between legitimate deck help needed posts and 'hey look at my deck, please +1 it' posts and I'm not sure where this stands.
