Sideboard Help

Deck Help forum

I recently came up with a deck. I think it can work really well. My only issue is that it is really weak against monoblack. Please look at it and give me some advice on sideboarding, or a suggest to deal with black threats.

Use Go for the Throat . Rather than 4 Doom Blade , mainboard 2 Doom Blade s and 2 Go for the Throat s.

Also, I'm not really sure about the use of the full four Evil Presence . With all of the solar flare and UB control decks, I think you'd be better off mainboarding only 2 and sideboarding the other 2 if you really want to use it.

Also, I think you have too few instant and sorcery spells for Galvanoth to be effective. You might want to consider using Into the Maw of Hell for combined land destruction and creature removal.

Into the Maw of Hell is too much of a risk for me because I don't want to have to destroy one of my creatures.

The 4x Doomblade maindeck is specific to my local FNM. Only 1 guy there plays black. Everyone else plays Wurmcoil Engine.

The evil Presence is great for Solar Flare IMO. I can deal with their black threats. It's great if i can shut down their blue or white though. I put Go for the Throat in the sideboard.

I was never really sold on Galvanoth in this deck, but I can't think of something better to replace it with that continues to support the deck theme. I could mainboard the Slagstorm and side something else?
