please give your thoughts on this deck. though keep in my its built for the future so i put no m13 or innistrad block cards. however id be a little more open minded torwards innistrad block since i have a little more time before that phases out.

You do know that Innistrad block and M13 will both be in Standard until September, right?

Standard only rotates once per year. That rotation happens with the release of the first set of the new block, usually late September or early October. Nothing rotates out when M14 is released.

Yeah, Standard doesn't rotate with the release of each set. That would make for a ridiculously ephemeral format.

I don't really understand why so many people try to exclude older Standard cards from their decks. Make the most of everything while you can; new sets may introduce cards that completely change the meta, so it doesn't make any sense to play a weaker version of your deck in the hopes you'll be able to survive a rotation that brings completely unknown things to the format.

I'm not a Standard player. I don't really know what to tell you.

lol

This thread.

Zameck Guildmage + Young Wolf and Strangleroot Geist is good enough for borderline-tier-1 action.

both of those guys would be problematic to add since im looking to curve out my evolve creatures. i could sub out experiment one for young wolf. strangleroot can be trouble too since i sometimes need gyre sage to cast rubblebelt raiders.

But Zameck Guildmage gives you a ton of card-draw and essentially makes your Undying dudes invincible. Also, when a creature with Undying re-enters with a counter on it, Evolve can trigger.
