Just wondering if the land looks alright. i worry about it sometimes ive been running playtests on it through the site but an un-biased opinion would be nice please. It will be standard as soon as gate crash drops heres a link:

At least 22 lands, you have cards with a CMC higher than 5, this could be very hard to comes into play with only 19 lands.

You should never really be playing with less than 22 lands unless your curve stops at 3, you're playing a Goblin Charbelcher deck, or you're playing Vintage.

Also, you should never play over 60 cards unless you're playing EDH. Anything over 60 will only serve to decrease the efficiency and consistency of your deck.

well i was gonna go 20 land with a chromatic lanter in the 21st mana slot considering it fixes all mana issues i'll ever run into until destroyed or whatnot. maybe i should drop the 2 blood artist in favor of land?

@zandl: I actually see a lot of 64 card decks that work really well. I'd say that 65 would be the maximum efficient number, but of course, it's all opinion.

It's not really opinion. It's fact. Statistically speaking, if you run more than 60 cards, consistency will decrease.

Show me one deck that had more than 60 cards in a big Top 8 that wasn't Battle of Wits from the last 5 years and I'll eat my hat.

Nothing really escalated. He said something incorrect, so I offered my reasoning for correcting him. shrug

In all honesty, drop Sphere of Safety and card:Angel of Glory's Rise. But are incredibly slow for that deck and neither really does anything for you. card:Angel of Glory's Rise is sideboard material at best (unless you have some janky Reanimator strategy) and you only have a total of 8 Enchantments for Sphere of Safety , including itself. For Sphere of Safety to be a real contender, you'd need more than double that many Enchantments.

i was worried about late game a lot more than i should be i s'pose. that makes sense though. i think ill drop the sphere but add the angel to SB. i really like it for a late game changer because i cant think of a better way to bring all those humans ive been chewing through (that isnt elixir of immortality)
