So legacy is the one format I have always wanted to enter but the problem I have with is that because the format is so competitive you have much less room to be yourself. I have thought about different ways to be less of a spike but still get by and I think I have found something that I am happy with.

Back when I just played causal my favorite deck was an Eldrazi reanimator deck that was a lot of fun. I retrofitted that deck and made it a lot more beefy and that left me this deck Doomsday Cults are so Much Fun.

As usual I appreciate all comments, criticism, and suggestions and understand that I am going to trade off some power to make me feel comfortable.

I don't really think that's a fair analysis of the format. There are plenty of tier 1 decks that are competitive and unique, and even homebrews can place if designed properly. If you're trading off power for comfort, you can't really expect to have a hypercompetitive deck (and that goes for all formats).

Well I kinda overstate the whole "trading power for comfort" thing. I just prefer to use cards that are not the most commonly seen so that I feel like I play with a unique identity. If I just played strictly the most powerful cards then what have I accomplished besides doing the most obvious thing? So instead I like to try to come up with combinations of cards that can compete with the standard issue powerful decks. And that kinda goes for whatever game I play, I just like to use janky equipment, classes, armor, weapons, ect. so that I have identity when playing.
