Ok so I'm trying to build black green zombies right now, and with the limited resources I have I'm trying to get the best value of a functional deck.
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/golgari-zombies-14-11-12-2/ (Sorry I couldn't get the hyper link to work...)
So my question is, should I get 2 more grave crawlers? Or Geralf's? A playset of lotleth trolls? Or shock lands or some weird combination of the above?I'd like to only spend 20 but if you think I can make the deck a lot better for just a little more money then that I'd be willing to take any suggestions.
For now I have the nighthawks in place of Geralf's, and the slitherheads and vile rebirths in place of grave crawlers.
Thanks for any segestions!
Oops here it is! Got it working now Golgari Zombies
Thanks!

I highly recommend the Lotleth Troll 's, they really make a zombie deck with their one cost regenerate. They also allow instant buffs from your hand to save them, and then you can scavenge. I like to discard in combat and then scavenge when its my turn.

Get as many good dual lands for your deck as you can with $20, for most decks it's often correct to go for the best possible land base, before you get the really good spells, much like first making a good base for a house before you start topping it with a roof. Also dual lands are the easiest cards to use for future decks.

Would you recomend the shock lands or the woodland cemetery for value?

Try to go for 2x Lotleth Troll because they are very powerful. Stay away from double green and black so you don't need good lands.

gravemole1 you are aware that Lotleth Troll also is a lot better when you can always play it early with a great possibility for regen mana up and good lands allow this, also shock lands also will retain value longer.
