Some "Budget" help

Lookin for suggestions and thoughts on what could help this deck be a bit more competitive.

I would like budget friendly suggestions, so no 4x Thoughtseize .

I know that more shocklands and scrylands would help but I would still like some more ideas.

After a couple games on cockatrice ive decided to move 2 Toil / Trouble to the sb in place of a Magma Jet and a Lightning Strike , and replace them with Read the Bones since I Sign in Blood ed myself most of the time.

And dropped both Purphoros, God of the Forge s, the one in the MB is swapped for one more Dreadbore cause in this deck he's a "win-more" card and the one in the SB is swapped for Erebos, God of the Dead cause lifegain is annoying (when it's not my own).

Won both games.

Against Esper control I had to do the Sign in Blood for red mana, but because of my lifegain I won, also he tapped out on mana and I used a Warleader's Helix + a Lightning Strike to finish him off, he didn't wanna play game 2 tho.

Against Mono-White It wasn't going so swell till I tossed out a Blood Baron of Vizkopa and that was that, the second game I dropped an early Young Pyromancer and started picking out his small creatures with kill spells and swinging with my elementals, then I won with a combination of 2 Chandra's Phoenix and burn spells
