So, if you were going to make a golgari aggro deck what kinda of creatures would you include. I have some ideas, but don't have much in the way of support for it, so I guess I'm just fishing for some standard legal ideas that I don't know about. Plus it'll be interesting to hear some other takes on this same deck idea.

my idea lately has been using Springleaf Drum with Burning-Tree Emissary to play 3 drop creatures turn 2.

Lotleth Troll , Varolz, the Scar-Striped , Dreg Mangler all seem like good options. check out Putrefy and APPLE01DOJ and their own decks that they have made and are pretty good.

ok i'll mention my idea, I was kinda vague on it before because I wasn't looking for anything necessarily specific to this. Experiment One and Pack Rat , once you get the rat going your Experiment One has a never ending evolve trigger. I've been using Dreg Mangler and Reaper of the Wilds to top out the curve with some removal and Golgari Charm to clear things out of my way or regenerate my creatures. The problem is for an aggro deck this isn't really enough creatures and I don't have any mutavaults so to supplement the extra 1 and 2 drops I've used extra rats like Slitherhead , Drainpipe Vermin , and Gutter Skulk , so as you can see my supporting cast isn't that great. They're decent in their own right, because the random make you discard a card can have an effect and they do help get Pack Rat going so that I can start making copies but it's just not enough. The idea came to me as something rather fun to do when I go over to my friends to play and has been surprisingly fun and rather good, with the exception of the few games where you draw nothing but those "supporting cast" cards and never get going. That''s why I asked this question, because I thought maybe if I could get some ideas and improve it a little and go and surprise a few people this FNM and have a little fun.

Lotleth Troll and Pack Rat with Slitherhead might make for an interesting combo. Ideally, you can discard Slitherhead to the troll and scavenge it for a 4/3 with trample on turn two or discard it to make a rat later. Dreg Mangler would certainly be an option and you could include Reaper of the Wilds in control match-ups. Scavenging Ooze would work nicely with the discard mechanic and any kill spells you might run.

That does seem interesting, I have noticed in other decks I've tried to include Pack Rat the rats were actually rather slow because I couldn't always discard a card to it and without the Mutavault they were basically 1/1's most of the time. Going aggro has actually helped this because it's easier to discard a creature when i'm gonna get a rat that's twice the size of it and like I said the extra rats have helped get Pack Rat rat going faster as well.

The only problems I can foresee right away is, you have both Lotleth Troll and Pack Rat that you need to discard cards for, which means your constantly gonna have to chose between doing one or the other, but this does work good with Scavenging Ooze (which I forgot to mention I include a couple of before). In order to effectively pump the troll and ooze and make rats you'll need lots of card draw and mana, which feels like it works against the aggro concept.
