Standard to Modern Conversion

I currently run a Standard Naya color ramp deck. Most of the cards in it are going to be rotated out when the new Ravnica set comes out so I want to change it to Modern. I got into Magic about 2 years ago so I am not familiar with all the Modern sets.

A few ideas I had was add some cards from the Alara block such as Woolly Thoctar , Naya Hushblade , Titanic Ultimatum , etc...I also want to add a couple of Godsire and use him in combination with Mimic Vat to build an army of 8/8 beast tokens (hilarious)

Since I am in unfamiliar territory, I need lots of suggestions on cards that would make this deck ridiculous. I have some cards already such as Cultivate and Journey of Discovery to help with ramp, but I am open to all suggestions. I am not particularly on a budget so suggest away.

You first need to at the mana bases. Modern land is really expensive and requires a lot of thought. I would look at a modern deck to see some examples.
