Standard Trolling Challenge

Deck Help forum

As Scars prepares to rotate, let's play some janky scars decks, combo decks, troll decks, what ever. If someone can make a RELIABLE infinite combo deck or a deck featuring "knowledge pool", I swear I will play that sucker at my next FNM and report results. Post your lists and join in on the fun giggling at Bonfire flippers.

Knowledge Pool + Curse of Exhaustion is a hardlock barring flashback.

U/W control deck with that as the wincon.

Better than that combo is this: Consecrated Sphinx + Psychosis Crawler + Time Reversal

Havengul Lich +Perilous Myr +Heartless Summoning +Priest of Urabrask +Slagstorm +Whipflare +Faithless Looting +Forbidden Alchemy and/or removal tailored to the meta. I built this deck in real cards, but I left my cards 1200kms away from where I am...sad face.

I had a G/W Knowledge Pool deck and it was pretty sweet. It used walls, lifegain and Terminus to great effect.

My current jank standard is Mill Fog. The only decks I've lost to are decks featuring burn, which seems like a big percentage of my meta.

Ah, me gusta. Some of this stuff is pretty standard, but I definitely like a lot of the stuff I'm seeing. Ive already tried out turbo fog and I'm thinking treasure mage and grand architect should be my nightmare-fuel for shenanigans. Thanks for helping keep my awkward decks alive!

There is a combo with Knowledge Pool and Curse of Exhaustion . Basically you curse them and they can only cast only one spell per turn. Then you drop the pool and that one spell they can cast goes directly into the pool, but they can't cast anything else for the turn because with the pool on the field, they are supposed to cast another spell from the three cards, but can't because of the curse.

The guy that was at Origins used some ramp like Solemn Simulacrum , Sphere of the Suns , and Pristine Talisman . You can make it U/W so you can use Treasure Mage to get the pool and probably use Terminus and Banishing Stroke to put threats on the bottom of the library.

The only thing that hoses that plan is Ancient Grudge if it finds it's way into the yard. However, it is very possible to stop that one card.

No, flashback still casts it. They really can't do anything after that.

The win-con in my version after the lock happened was Chalice of Death  Flip  Flip lol

If people have Flashback spells, then use card:Grafdigger's Cage. Once the lock happens, the only way it will be able to get into the graveyard is by your opponent discarding cards.
