Starting Treefolk Deck

I want to make a treefolk deck, but I have no real idea where to start. I have a basic understanding on how these decks work, but not enough that I can just make one. I see a lot of Green, Black, and White decks, but I would like to keep mine just Green and Black. I am not making a Commander/EDH deck, just a simple 60 card deck

I played against a black white green 60 card treefolk deck in standard way back when and it hurt! that was running Doran, the Siege Tower, Leaf-Crowned Elder, Timber Protector, Treefolk Harbinger, Unstoppable Ash, Woodfall Primus and now you can also run some nice things like Beast Within to protect your self as well as the off Wrath of God, Disenchant and Path to Exile. maybe some Harmonize for when you need more cards
I personally also like, Orchard Warden, Sapling of Colfenor, Seedguide Ash

If you want some ideas for cards to include, the Magiccards.info advanced search is a great place to start.
This is a search of all the cards with the type "treefolk" that are black or green.

I have a mono green treefolk deck which will probably give you some good ideas for at least the green part of your deck:
I speak for the mothafuckin trees
Definitely include Bosk Banneret since it will make all your creatures cheaper.
